We strive to have our speakers and their topics identified at least 3 months in advance.

The status of our Current Programs is given below. As the date for each talk approaches a more detailed description will be posted.

IMPORTANT NOTICES:

Until further notice the following protocols will be in place for all talks:

  1. Social distancing will be available for some seating. If you wish to use this capability, we recommend that you arrive early so that you can be suitably seated.
  2. We will not be having our normal coffee, tea and cookies at the end of the meeting.

Notification of postponement/cancellation due to weather

As a service to our members, the Athenæum Society of Nova Scotia will post on its website a notice of postponement or cancellation by 9am on the day of the presentation as well as sending the information direct via email.  When a postponement is feasible, the new date will be posted. If you are in any doubt due to the vagaries of winter weather in Nova Scotia, please check before leaving home.
